Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Creatiocentric handles enquiries and how the website uses Cloudflare for hosting, security and website analytics, and optional Google Analytics when you choose to allow it.

What we collect

When you choose to make an enquiry, the consultation form asks for your name, business name, email address, an optional phone or WhatsApp number, the kind of help you are looking for, and a description of what you want built or improved.

We do not ask for identity numbers, financial details or payment information anywhere on this website, and you should not send them through the form.

The Digital Opportunity Score and Website Package Planner calculate results in your browser. Your selections and result are not submitted to our enquiry service or stored in its database. If optional Google Analytics is enabled, we may record that a tool was completed and a broad service category, but not the answers or score.

Why we use your enquiry details

To record and reply to your enquiry, arrange a free consultation, and prepare a quote if you ask for one. We also protect the enquiry service against spam and misuse. We do not sell your information or add you to a marketing list without asking you first.

Where it goes

Your enquiry is sent to our enquiry service, processed by Cloudflare and stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. A notification is sent through Cloudflare Email to our designated Google Workspace business inbox. These providers process the information needed to deliver, store and respond to your enquiry. You can also contact us directly at [email protected].

For short-term spam protection, the enquiry service derives a keyed, one-way identifier from the request IP address. This helps limit repeated submissions without storing the raw IP address in the enquiry database. The identifier expires after one hour and is removed during cleanup. Cloudflare separately processes request information to deliver and protect the website.

Cookies and analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall site usage and page performance. Its browser script sends Cloudflare information used to report page views, referring sites, device and browser categories, and page-loading performance. These reports help us improve the website.

Cloudflare states that this analytics script does not use cookies or browser storage and does not track individual visitors across its customers' websites. This describes the analytics service; Cloudflare also processes requests to deliver and protect the website, as explained below. Fonts are served from this website rather than from a third-party font service. We will update this policy when the analytics or marketing tools used on the website change.

Optional Google Analytics

If you choose Accept analytics, we load Google Analytics to understand which public pages visitors use, when they start the enquiry form, when a valid enquiry is accepted, and when they choose our email, telephone or WhatsApp links. A contact-link click is not a completed conversation, booking or sale. Declining analytics does not prevent you from using the website or submitting an enquiry.

Google Analytics uses cookies and processes browser, device and interaction information. Our measurement events do not include your name, email address, phone number, enquiry reference or form answers. We remove URL query strings and fragments from the page addresses we send and do not send the destination contact details of clicked links. Advertising personalisation, Google signals and automatic enhanced measurement are off. Google Analytics is not loaded before you allow it.

Use Analytics preferences on any page to change your choice or withdraw permission for future collection. Your choice is remembered in your browser where browser storage is available, for up to 180 days. Analytics cookies are configured to last up to 60 days without automatic renewal on activity. We set Google Analytics user-level and event-level retention to two months; this does not control how long aggregated reports remain available. Withdrawing permission does not automatically erase information previously received by Google. Google may process information outside South Africa. Service providers

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and its editable content is managed in Sanity. Cloudflare processes standard server request information (such as IP address and browser type) in order to serve and protect the site. When you submit an enquiry, Cloudflare also operates the enquiry service, database and notification delivery, and Google Workspace processes business email notifications and correspondence. Sanity manages published website content; we do not send consultation form answers to Sanity. Provider processing is necessary to run these services; we do not share enquiry details for unrelated marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records in the Cloudflare D1 database are deleted after 180 days during scheduled cleanup. We review enquiry correspondence in our business inbox for removal after 180 days; correspondence needed for an active project or ongoing enquiry may be retained separately with that work's records. You can ask us to delete enquiry information through the contact address below; we will explain if any information must be retained for an ongoing service or another applicable requirement. Short-term spam identifiers expire after one hour and are removed during cleanup.

Your rights

Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will action the request.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle information changes, this page changes with it. The version you are reading applies from the date it was published.
